Linker Hand L6 industrial dexterous hand

The industrial one. A ball-screw electric cylinder in each finger gives 201°/s and 50 N of grip at 607 g, and the mechanism has been run past a million cycles. Where cycle time and duty cycle are the requirement rather than the DOF count, this is the hand.

When this is the right choice

  • Speed. 201°/s at the fingers — roughly three times the O6, which is what a fast pick cycle needs.
  • Built to survive. Metal internal structure and a million-cycle test; a production cell hand, not a lab hand.
  • 50 N grip at 607 g with a 28 kg load rating.
  • Same SDK and ROS stack, so a cell that outgrows L6 can move to L20 without new software.

When it is the wrong choice

  • Fine manipulation. Six active joints — in-hand rotation is not what this hand is for.
  • Force or tactile sensing. Fingertip forces are rated, not measured; no tactile array.
  • Lightweight arms. The 250 g over an O6 matters on a small cobot wrist.

Linker Hand L6 FAQ

How is the L6 different from the O6?

Same 6+5 DOF layout, different mechanism and intent. L6 uses a ball-screw electric cylinder for speed and duty cycle (201°/s, 1M cycles, 607 g); O6 is the lighter, cheaper linkage hand (360 g, 74.8°/s).

What does 1 million cycles mean for my cell?

A test result, not a warranty. At a 5 s cycle that is roughly 1,400 hours of continuous operation. Ask us for the wear-parts list and the replacement interval.

Can it run from 24 V DC directly?

Yes — DC 24 V ±10%, 0.2 A static and 5.6 A peak. Size the supply for the peak.

How long does it take to ship?

Confirmed per order at quotation.
