Ti5 RI80-97-PRO-S rotary actuator

84 N·m rated and 194 N·m start–stop at 1.5 kg, Φ80, single 101:1. This is the frame that competes directly with the 84 N·m harmonic joints — at less than half the mass of one of them.

When this is the right choice

  • 84 N·m at 1.5 kg. EYOU PHU25H-110 needs 2,354 g for the same 84 N·m and Tongchuan TCHL-25 needs 1.85 kg for 83 — this is the lightest frame at that torque in our catalogue.
  • 194 N·m start–stop — the same number as PHU25H-110’s instantaneous max, at 63% of the mass.
  • 24–80 V covers a 72 V pack, which most harmonic joints do not.

When it is the wrong choice

  • Single ratio, and the S parts are thinly documented. Body length and bore are not on our datasheet; confirm the drawing before fixing an envelope.
  • No brake and no torque sensor. At 84 N·m this is usually a hip or a large shoulder, and both of those want a brake.
  • Figures still being re-verified against the current Ti5 catalogue — 84 N·m at 1.5 kg is a headline number, so we confirm it before quoting.

RI80-97-PRO-S FAQ

How can 84 N·m weigh 1.5 kg?

Thin-wall housing and a compact motor stack, plus the single-ratio build. It is the same reason the S parts exist: less structure for a fixed ratio. We confirm the weight and the drawing on quotation because it is exceptional for the class.

Would you put this on a hip?

Only with a brake added. 84 N·m rated and 194 N·m start–stop fit a small humanoid hip, but a hip that sags on power-off is a safety problem, and no brake is published for this frame.

How long does it take to ship?

Confirmed per order at quotation, together with the specification and drawing confirmation.
