Ti5 RI100-120-PRO-S rotary actuator

169 N·m rated and 411 N·m start–stop at 2.52 kg — the top of the Ti5 range. On paper it is the highest torque-to-mass ratio of any actuator we list, which is exactly why we confirm the drawing before quoting it.

When this is the right choice

  • 169 N·m at 2.52 kg. The nearest harmonic is EYOU PHU32H-142 at 5,650 g for the same rated torque — less than half the mass.
  • 411 N·m start–stop covers a waist or a heavy hip on a full-size humanoid.
  • 24–80 V input — runs on a 72 V pack where most harmonics stop at 48.
  • Φ100 is compact for 169 N·m. It leaves room in a hip where a Φ142 harmonic does not.

When it is the wrong choice

  • No brake. On a waist or hip that is the first objection a reviewer will raise, and there is no published answer to it on this frame.
  • Thin documentation. Body length, bore and inertia are not on our datasheet — we request the drawing before quoting.
  • No torque sensor, so a compliant waist needs an external sensor or a series-elastic element.
  • Numbers still being re-verified against the current Ti5 catalogue.

RI100-120-PRO-S FAQ

Is this really 169 N·m at 2.52 kg?

That is our current datasheet figure and we are re-checking it against the latest Ti5 catalogue before we quote. It is far enough ahead of every harmonic at the same torque that a drawing confirmation is the responsible next step, and that is what the quotation includes.

Harmonic or this for a waist?

If the waist has to be torque-controlled or hold position on power-off, a harmonic frame with a brake (RHU32H-120, RHU40H-130) is the safer choice regardless of mass. If it only has to move and hold under power, this is 3 kg lighter.

How long does it take to ship?

Confirmed per order at quotation, with the drawing and specification confirmation first.
