When this is the right choice
- 300 g lighter than the PRO frame at the same 19.8 N·m. On a shoulder that is mass the rest of the arm does not have to carry.
- 42 N·m start–stop — enough shock tolerance for a 2–3 kg payload arm.
- 51:1 gives the highest output speed in the CRA60 class, which suits fast pick-and-place.
When it is the wrong choice
- No 101:1 or 121:1. If the arm turns out to need more holding torque, the fix is a different part, not a different option code.
- Short body, so check the axial envelope — the PRO-S body length is not published on our datasheet.

RI60-70-PRO-S FAQ
Why is the PRO-S lighter?
A shorter housing and a single-ratio gear build. The motor and the gear class are the same, so the rated torque does not change.
Is 42 N·m enough for a shoulder?
For an arm up to about 8 kg total mass with a 2–3 kg payload, yes on start–stop. For continuous holding, work from the 19.8 N·m rated figure and check the lever.
How long does it take to ship?
Confirmed per order at quotation, with the specification re-check on this series.
