Ti5 CRA-RI60-80-PRO rotary actuator

Four ratios from 51:1 to 121:1, 19.8–30 N·m rated and 66 N·m start–stop in 1.03 kg at Φ60 × 72.5. The most configurable actuator in the CRA range and the one that ends up on shoulders.

When this is the right choice

  • Four ratios on one drawing. 51:1 for a fast arm, 121:1 for a slow strong one — the same bracket, the same cable, four behaviours.
  • 66 N·m start–stop at 1.03 kg is competitive with EYOU PHA17H on peak, at a similar mass and with a ratio choice PHA does not offer.
  • Φ60 × 72.5 stays slim enough for an upper arm.
  • 24–80 V covers 24 V benches and 72 V packs with one part number.

When it is the wrong choice

  • No brake or torque sensor. A shoulder needs at least one of the two, so plan the extra hardware and its mass into the design.
  • Rated figures assume 2000 rpm input — verify against your motor and rail before fixing the ratio.
  • Specification being re-verified against the current Ti5 catalogue; treat the numbers as approximate until the quotation confirms them.

CRA-RI60-80-PRO FAQ

Which ratio for a shoulder?

101:1 is the usual answer: 30 N·m rated, 66 N·m start–stop. Go to 81:1 if the arm has to move fast with a light payload, 121:1 if it holds a long lever and speed is secondary, and 51:1 only for a short, fast arm.

Can I get it with a brake?

Not published for this frame. If the shoulder must hold with power off, either add a separate brake or use a robot-grade actuator from Crabnova, which lists the brake as a build option.

How long does it take to ship?

Confirmed per order at quotation, together with the specification re-check on this series.
